I thought that #1 was good. It captures the relationship between The Doctor and Ruby and I loved the clothing montage. I am excited for the next issue, it is just a shame that we have to wait for it…

Think I’m gonna wait for the trade paperback for this. Not bought a lot of comics in my time but they quickly take up space and I just cant get along with digital reading.

Looking forward to reading it though!

I agree - it was a great first issue and the clothing montage felt very apt for this era. Also fun to see 15 meet the Cybermen for the first time. The art style is pretty nice as well and the dialogue felt fitting for the Doctor and Ruby. Interesting to see where this is headed!

This is why I have shifted to only digital reading. I think that Comics works great on a tablet and I bought an E-reader for books. I miss analog reading but I don’t have the space for it. It is also easy to buy directly from your sofa and not have to wait.

Small stuff, I also wonder if “Everything most go” is the name of the ark or just this story. I mean should it go up on the guide or not?

I guess it should go up on the guide, but since we are listing comic books as complete arcs and collections, we should probably wait until that arc is complete, so we get the name and page count and other stuff correct. Not to mention the fact that we cannot rate it until we’ve read the entire thing.

We go by story name more or less. For example, some of the 11th stuff is obviously really connected but it has different names and that makes it two stories. I also think that we should wait until we know but it feels weird to read something Doctor Who and not mark anything as complete

I know! I get this strange case of FOMO and I have an itch to complete and rate the first issue on the Guide, only to notice that it’s impossible :frowning_with_open_mouth:

I guess I’m addicted.

I’m with you on that one. The waiting for the paperback thing I mean. I can definitely get behind digital reading, I just tend to also want to have something physical to put on my shelf as well. (I say while turning to look at my bookshelves that are completely full of books and comics most of which I haven’t yet read(none of it is Doctor Who though))

What app do you use?

For this, I could only find it on the Kindle store. But for the stuff I bought on Humble Bundle, I use Panles.

I also use the Kindle app on my smartphone for the stuff I’ve bought through Amazon (such as these 15th Doctor issues). For all the rest, ssuch as the Humble Bundle stuff, I use CDisplayEx, whih is a great app for reading comics. I use Android, so Panels isn’t available for me.

I used to use that when I was on Android and liked it.

Is #2 delayed? Can’t find it.

It appears so, but I don’t know for sure.

Just read the second issue. I think that it is still a good read. I think that it will be a good story when collected, but I had forgotten how annoying it is go read single-issue comics, there is just too much wait between each installment.

I think I’m going to wait until the first collection is released until I continue reading this series. I feel better about reading the entire story in one go, rather than having to wait several weeks between issues.

Read the free comic book day comic today. Was interesting but far too short. (Read it while I was waiting for the bus. At a bus stop that was being detoured around, so I ended up having to walk to the previous one…)

Anyone know if this series is an ongoing, or if it’ll end after Everyone Must Go! concludes?
Wondering because I’m really enjoying having more adventures with 15!
