The Dimension of Lost Things - A Lost Media Thread

Being as big a franchise as Doctor Who is, there’s plenty of Lost Media to discuss.

Of course there’s the obvious things like the missing episodes, or Torchwood’s Absent Friends, but there’s also plenty of smaller things that’ll never again (or in some cases just never) see the light of day.

What’re the pieces of Doctor Who Lost Media that interest you the most?

I think it’d be really interesting to make a sheet somewhere compiling all the lost media there is for Doctor Who, the Wiki has a page for lost media, but it’s very short

Does this count?

I definitely wish I could see some of the stage plays which are sort of ‘lost’ as unless they’re performed again won’t be something I can experience.

Something like Time Fracture might also count but I got to do that, thankfully, before it closed. Have I mentioned how awesome it was…?

I regret not getting to see the live tour thing with Nigel Planer.

It can be quite tricky to discuss lost media on the wiki while remaining respectful of copyright. However, this page is quite new (it was created less than a month ago!) and definitely needs expanding, which likely will happen before too long.

Josh Snares has an excellent restoration of The Ultimate Adventure stage play from surviving footage that I really recommend if you’re interested in this play: https://youtu.be/pqZNnl-nVlM

Thanks - but I have already seen it - live in the theatre with Jon Pertwee. And Colin Baker sitting four rows behind me… My first ever autograph. I’ve also had a VHS version for years. Josh’s version is very well made though.
