The Chase - where would you land the TARDIS?

If you were writing The Chase and were scripting those middle episodes where the TARDIS and the DARDIS land in a variety of weird and wonderful places, where would you land the time machines?

In the original we have a historical place involving an unsolved mystery, a ‘fantasy’ location and something contemporary.

Where would you take the DARDIS - a different historical mystery solved by the presence of the Daleks, the Daleks facing off against a historical figure, somethin a bit more out there? Where would be good places to show the Daleks in their best light as they pursue the TARDIS?

Roanoke might be a good disappearance caused by the Daleks.

I’m going to do the opposite. Go in the future with the Time war to see them suffer

Stockholm of course! Probably when the Royal ship Wasa ship sank after around 1300 meters on its maiden voyage in 1628.

It has a great museum if you are in Stockholm where the ship stands today:

(yes we have a museum of one of our biggest failures)

I’d take it to the The TARDIS Guide Meet-up! Shauny could give the Daleks pin badges

The hostage situation at Normalmstorg that gave the name to Stockholms syndrome is also a great setting for some Dalek action.

The TARDIS would land in the middle of a USA Walmart, and the gang would be hiding amongst the food and clothing aisles. I’d just love to see the Daleks barking orders in the grocery section!
