It looks… suspicious!
But today I learned what a scotch egg is!

Next I’ll educate you about a Manchester egg
I don’t even know whether or not I want to know what that is
Made vegetarian spagbol (spaghetti bolognese) for us tonight!! Tried a new veggie mince which I really liked. It’s not technically mince but is basically like it. I used to use an amazing one but they stopped making it unfortunately.
Yay something we agree on!
It was super easy for me when I went vegan because the list of things that have always disgusted me include milk, eggs, and most cheeses…
Eggs yes.
Milk - no.
Cheese - 100% not - I LOVE cheese!
I can’t keep cheese in the house otherwise I’ll be found standing in front of the fridge in the middle of the night eating it by the handful
Normality is restored.
We have a thread for you
OMG! That looks delicious.
@MrColdStream, I’m heading to your house now…
But I’ll just need like 4 of those!
Those look amazing!
I had to chuckle because in the US we have similar products, but they would start with “Mama” instead of “Mummy”… cool differences…
Man, I’d eat those by the handful. I love candy (ironically, I just returned from the dentist - unrelated, LOL!)
Oh, sorry. I believe there’s nothing left. It was too good to leave uneaten.
Didn’t take a pic but I made a slow-cooked (faux) chicken curry tonight and it was so goooood
Our main supermarket chain got bought over by a huge one a few months back, and they’ve started stocking more veggie options and the fake chicken I used is one of them. It’s really great, breaks apart well especially when slow cooked.
It’s funny, there’s less veggie alternatives here in France than when I lived in the UK but I actually prefer the ones here!
Tofu wrap (and return of the Sixie Shorts!)
The chef here is being really accommodating considering half the staff here look at me in bewilderment when I say no meat no egg no dairy
I might even eat that myself - although I don’t think I’ve ever had tofu.
Quoted for truth.
