So I’m aware we have a Doctor Who tattoo thread, but thought it’d be cool to have a thread covering everything and anything tattoo related. Whether it be showing off, asking questions, after-care or anything like it!
Myself I have 9 tattoos! I got my first in 2019 whilst on holiday with my family in Spain, in memory of my Dad as he passed away a couple years prior. I didn’t think I’d be here a few years later with this many, especially as I cannot stand needles. Whenever I have to have needles for blood or even tattoos I just look away
Love love love!!! One thing I wish I knew before I got my first, was that a lot of people tend to get tattoos facing the direction of other people, and my first one was facing me
With ones like yours, I have one in a similar position so sideways, it doesn’t really matter. Then again, the one I have facing me I like that it faces me, its for me at the end of the day so I like to be able to read it.
I have no tattoos but my girlfriend has many. I don’t want to bug her for pictures right now but these include a biblically accurate angel, a rat, some beetles, a monstera leaf, some blueberries, and my personal favourite, her late oma and opa’s recreated signature.
Those are my only proper fandom ones, Doctor Who & Good Omens. Asides from that I have one in memory of my grandad, one in memory of my dad, my mums handwriting in memory of her, a Pokemon and the handwriting of my fave drag queen!
I only have 1 so far on my ankle it’s the Greek Cross with ~IC ~XC on the top and NIKA on the bottom looks similar to the below (top the Byzantine for Jesus Christ (ΙΗCΟΥC ΧΡΙCΤΟC) the line overtop the letters means He’s Eternal and the NIKA is Greek for Conqueror or Victor
I am planning on getting one for Philly just not sure what exactly, one for Greek/Greece, my wife and I are going to get matching peacock tattoos and I do want to get a Doctor Who one as well
