Tales from the TARDIS (Doctor Who Weekly)

Hello everyone! I came here to ask about this Doctor Who Weekly comic series because I couldn’t find them on the site.

To give a little introduction, in this series classic science fiction novels were adapted into comics. These, moreover, came from a Marvel publication and were adapted by introducing the Doctor as the narrator.

I was wondering if they weren’t on the site because they don’t technically tell any stories related to the Whoniverse, or maybe because they just weren’t added yet.

If this post can also serve as a conversation starter for this series, go ahead.
At the moment I’ve only started the adaptation of H.G. Wells’ The War of the Worlds, and I’m sorry to say I haven’t read any of the original books yet, but perhaps these adaptations will get me started on them this summer, so I’ll comment here if I see fit.

I believe this is the reason. We do already have a thread for the Whoniverse comics featured in Doctor Who Weekly which became known as Doctor Who Magazine in issue 107.

Sounds interesting. I did not know that they existed. If they are told from the Doctor’s perspective, they might be something that should be added. Do you have a link to the TARDIS wiki were we can read more about them.

The only element of the Doctor is usually a panel at the start introducing the story. It’s not really something that would fall under the site’s remit.

And if I recall, the introduction from the Doctor is only for the first part of the story.
