Suggest Story Arcs

Should we be tagging all stories where Three is stranded on Earth as part of the ’Exile on Earth’ arc or just the TV stories? I’d go for the former myself.

The former sounds ideal, considering how many stories exist in the EU, where he can’t travel with his Tardis/by will and how many there are set after his freedom with the TARDIS is back, it’s quite helpful probably for those who search for one of those stories types with 3!

I’ve noticed the Hector trilogy has been tagged as “The Elder Gods Trilogy”. That’s a bit odd to me because, though it follows on from the Elder Gods Trilogy (Protect and Survive through to Gods and Monsters), it’s definitely its own thing.

Suggestion to tag the Hector stories (Afterlife through Signs and Wonders) as “The Hector Arc” or simply “Hector”?

Or also—we could make Hector a new character distinct from Hex. The Hector stories are currently tagged as Hex even though Hector and Hex are two different people.

Would have been good if the people writing the stories had remembered that fact… /hj

I’ve only started Revenge but yeah, Hector is coming across as a more boring version of Hector so far—and nothing like how he was in Afterlife.

I haven’t finished reading them yet, but there is a story arc involving God and the Worldsphere in the Benny NAs. As far as I can remember, the relevant books have been Oh No It Isn’t!, Down and Ghost Devices [1], and I have heard this arc gets resolved in Walking to Babylon? (but someone who has read them can confirm)

  1. which is the one I’m on ↩︎

Would “president of Gallifrey” be a good story arc? I know that on TV, The Deadly Assassin and Invasion of Time both feature the changing of president and with all the Gallifrey material in the EU, I’m sure there are also other stories that focus on the role of the president of Gallifrey

It’s not really an arc but it might count as a trope.
