Is there an accepted format for submitting quotes from books? The Add Quote page suggests copying exactly from transcripts with an example layout, which is handy, but of less help when quoting text that can’t be laid out like that

I usually just copy from the book. That is to me the only way that makes sense to me.

Yeah just copy exactly how it is in the book please

Or if it’s just one or two people speaking and there’s no other important information you could reformat it to look like an audio / tv quote.

I’ve also been copying from the books, my biggest problem is always which characters to add for it though because that is a much harder judgement call if it’s a description for example and not someone speaking
