Do you need to add spoilers to your reply?
I thought we didnât need them here in the leak thread - happy to add them if needed though!
Iâm not sure. Iâm not sure if itâs blur spoilers everywhere even in spoiler-tagged threads or just in non-topic threads where things tend to bleed out into.
Iâve hidden it, just in case
Alternative, very out there, theory for Andrewâs âfull circleâ âfemale and familiarâ 16 casting: Lesley Sharpe (Sky Silvestri in Midnight) was co-lead with Eccleston in Second Coming, so it would be like going back to basics to cast a new Doctor. Probably wouldnât be explosive or stunt, but idk.
Thereâs no way thatâs real whereâs the source? ketchup and hp?
Power Rangers ahh villain
(Though it is pretty cool too)
The Abysmal Rani!!
This was from Reddit.. however it seems CGI and not AI.. more blender made could be concept for another design used for omega later in the episode? If there is another one aside from clawmega.
This one I like
For a second I thought it had been you until I looked at who had posted it
I prefer the Rock Lobster one
What I donât understand is the general audience perception of Billie Piper.
As a Doctor Who fan, the thing that most makes me question the Billie Piper rumour (although I wouldnât be surprised if it is true) is the fact that sheâs a very busy actor. I can buy that Russell T Davies would see casting a companion as the Doctor as a good idea, because it would get people talking, and for the first episode at least a lot of viewers would tune in out of curiosity to see how different she seems from Rose. I just donât know how Billie Piper would manage to fit it into her schedule, especially if thereâs a hiatus until 2027 or longer, and/or she just does two or three Specials rather than a full series.
My parents, on the other hand, who are closer to the general public than to being fans, have doubts for different reasons. They donât see Billie Piper as this huge actor who is busy starring in lots of different things (in fact, they thought she was a feasible name for a Masked Singer contestant in January). Instead, they view it as unlikely because they think the notion that Russell T Davies would cast a former companion as the Doctor as ridiculous, and many viewers would tune out because they wouldnât be able to buy the Doctor taking on the form of a past companion.
Personally, I think Billie Piper is that great an actor that she could absolutely pull it off.
I think sheâs phenomenal and could easily pull it off, however Iâm sick of RTD recasting actors from RTD1 in RTD2. Sure Doctor Who does reuse actors, but its the fact its reusing them from his own og era
& this is one of the reasons I think it isnât a good idea. Its just a gimmick. It would get media attention & generate reaction videos on social media, I get the feeling RTD2 is really into that. But other than that. Terrible idea.
I think she is a good actor but the legacy of the Rose character is too much. I donât want to sound entitled but it would be the end of me watching if she was 16.
