Hmm.. Evans I think said the series ends on Ncuti regenerating. He said originally it wouldn’t show 16 but has recently said that it will. He’s defo regenerating in the finale Evans has sadly been 100% on everything

Honestly, if there isn’t a tiny Dimensions in Time nod, I’ll be disappointed. Nothing major, just a wink at the Rani being back in London or something would do it.
Given Mel is also back in the finale, I’m desperate for some kind of repeat/reversal of the whole “The Rani disguises herself as Mel” sequence from Time and the Rani - it’s the kind of thing I could see Mrs Flood doing, or Mel doing the reverse with the Rani, and I would be 100% here for it. If RTD can squeeze in the weird spinning balls of death or have the Rani say “leave the girl, it’s the man I want”, I’ll actually give this story top marks, no questions asked. Heck, I’ll give it 4 stars if she calls someone a cretin or an imbecile every scene 
If we’re getting the Rani back after all this time, I absolutely want them to lean into the tropes from her two serials in classic - they might not be the best ever, but they certainly aren’t boring, and Kate O’Mara brought such a presence to the character, I think we need that in any new story.
Bonus points if Urak the Tetrap gets a mention.
