I guess this comes from the rumour that Mrs Flood bi-generates in E6, turning into Anjli Mohindra, and then there are two incarnations of the Rani running around the finale.
But I agree, all of this sounds more like the Land of Fiction to me.

I may be wrong, I know this is based on leaks, but I just do not see the Rani bigenerating.
Why would something that is just a myth and has never happened before (bigeneration) happen again?
Why does it matter if Mrs Flood is also the Rani? What has she done so far that makes her at all like the Rani?
Why is she hanging around on Earth being neighbours to people? Why the dressing up (just because she dressed as Mel, which was a tactic to pass herself off as Mel, NOT some kind of thing she does for fun)?
Why breaking the fourth wall?
Why did she forget that the TARDIS looks like a police box?
Why didnāt the Doctor immediately know she was a Time Lord, as RTD has said would happen?
Too many questions for me. And even if they all have valid explanations, that means about 20 minutes of the episode will be explaining them all.

Honestly, it feels as if weāre just desperately trying to find proof that fits the theory of the Rani returning, even if itās far-fetched. Such as Mrs Flood dressing up similarly to past companions - using disguises is more of the Masterās forte than the Raniās, yet here we see it as proof of Mrs Flood being the Rani because she did it once in her second appearance on the show.

Tbh it sounds more like at every turn itās just others trying to deny the leaks at this point when the leaks have already been proven under multiple circumstances from both interviews and even episodes 1s plot, to the fact that even the episode 3 part of the leaks also correct, maybe I just accepted that the leaks actually are true. Plus itās rtd heād probably do something like make the Rani ruler of the land of fiction just because he can

Plus the finale has an unholy trinity as described with in the radio times which does imply three villains, said leak technically has three villains albeit one or them being another incarnation of each other. Not to mention bigeneration can happen again is because the point is the doctor turned myths real, it wasnāt an oops I did it once it can not happen to other timelords scenario

Plus I donāt recall rtd saying the doctor would ever recognise a tinelord on sight because heās never been able to do that in the previous seasons with the master reveals

Thereās no proof that he didnāt know stuff for the first few episodes but made up the rest.
āThe Unholy Trinityā sounds like 3 connected beings, not like 2 versions of the Rani and Omega, they are just random.
Heās said it before, about how Ten knew he was alone in the universe, he could feel it, and it was only because of the Chameleon Arch that he didnāt know about the Master.
Plus, when they thought Susan Triad was Susan, they said it again - that he would know if he met her whether or not it was a Time Lord. Itās been said several times.
We will see if it all turns out to be true but I have serious doubts.

Look the leaker even got the Graham Norton cameo right which is from episode 6, Same episode that the Ranis going to be in, if he already knew about that beforehand then heās likely right about the rani

This is my general feeling too.
It wouldnāt surprise me - I was never expecting Sutekh to come back last year! - but Iām not seeing how it all connects.

They were Moffat and Chibnall. I think RTD believes the Doctor would knowā¦ he has said it loads of times in dialogue.
That was pretty much a given, itās an easy guess.
Remember the leaker last year who got loads correct but then said Rubyās birth mother was Carla? Got a few things right then made stuff up.

I also err on the side of caution. Someone āleakedā concept art for Season 1 last year and everyone fell for it, even though the artist later admitted they did it for bit of a laugh (and to just get their work out there).
I feel like people here are just going in circles. āThe rumours are true!ā āI donāt believe them!ā āWhy deny them?ā āWhy believe them?ā etc.
Only a few weeks until we find out.

Tbh the weird noise the TARDIS made in the devils cord was a callback to pyramids of mars and also the scene where he takes ruby to the ruined future too was as well

In hindsight, Sutekh was signposted loads.
Thatās good writing - when rewatching you can see all the callbacks.
Thatās why I really doubt this is Rani. Mrs Flood has done nothing to indicate she is the Rani.
