If they don’t, I think the number of sales will plummet, making them financially non-viable. For example, season 4 with animations is currently 8 screencap episodes, without there wouldn’t be a single story without at least some screencaps (over 30 missing episodes).
I know there are screencap fans, but how many people will pay £55 if the animations are missing?

There isn’t a doubt in my mind that the animations, where available, probably both color and black and white, will be in the sets, as well as a recon version of the story. I think it’s good to hear that the animation people want to get more animations out so they can try to fit the Collection’s schedule too.

Well. He said the color is from an episode in particular. So I doubt it’s a 60s one unless he’s being sneaky and taking it from TDIC, TWGIC, or one of the animations. Color seasons, we have 11, 13, 16, and 21. We just had a Pertwee, so that rules out 11, and we had a Tom Baker more recently than a Davison, so I’d say of those four, 21 most likely.
I don’t watch the animations in color or the color stories they did recently, so I wouldn’t know what colors come from which story. Someone else who knows better may have some idea what the color is from if it’s S1 or 3-6.

That’s from a cover, not an episode. But I think the colors in Binding’s post could very well be from the regeneration from 5-6, especially considering S21 is both Doctors.
