Sidebar Links?

Just out of curiosity, what links does everyone else put in the sidebar on the left on the tardis forums (or am I the only on that puts links there…)?

The ones I’ve got are:
One to the main tardis.guide site. I could probably delete this. The link at the top of the page used to vanish when scrolling down.

A link to tardis.wiki . Always useful for things.

A link to the Drafts section of the forums. Only really an admin thing.

A link that goes to The Doctor Who Transcripts , since that has all the Doctor Who transcripts.

A link to the K9 subsection, The K9 Transcripts .

And I’ve also got a link there that brings up my list of uncompleted stories on the Tardis guide, only unlike the other links on the site, it’s prefiltered to show only the tv show, and only Doctor Who itself. Usually when you go to bring it up it starts telling me that I need to watch all of Big Finish and all the spinoffs, BBV, etc, and sure, fair point, but I’m concentrating on the main show…

I didn’t even know you could do that… :exploding_head:

Move your mouse over “Links”, and a pencil appears by it, and clicking on that lets you add whatever you want there!

I didn’t know that was possible either but that is actually really cool and will probably save me a lot clicking in the future

I did have kind of a feeling that I was going to be one of the few people using that feature, but bringing awareness of it’s always good.

Definitely saves some clicking. In fact, I should probably add links for the 9-12 Doctor range and 13-15 for Whodle in there (and Whodle itself)…

If anyone finds them useful:

Guess what?

I also didn’t know this, so this is something I’m going to have to explore a bit. Sounds useful!

Even I didn’t know this was a thing and practically live on this forum!

Well I knew this was a thing, of course. But I only have forum links on there.

I use bookmarks on my browser for other important links, or mostly just remember the URLs

But it’s a useful feature!

I found out about this from this topic a few months back and put the links to the Transcripts, Whodle and the TARDIS Wiki. I don’t use the links a lot but they are handy. Probably should add a link to my profile judging by how often I go there.

In the months since posting this, I do now use them

Probably one of the millions of lofi music videos on youtube?

Lo-Fi is just a link to the ‘Lo-Fi Hip Hop Beats to Study and Relax To’ stream, sometimes like to have it up while reading DW stuff

I’ve never really tried listening to that stuff, but it’s a good idea. I usually listen to music that I know the words to and that distracts me.

Today I had playing in the background the songs from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and found myself stopping and just watching the videos for ages

Listening to this now, I can see how it helps stop distractions! Thanks!

There’s a bunch of Lo-Fi Disney songs I often put on when my class are working quietly. Anything with too much rhythm and they can’t resist jiggling along.

Yeahhh, I can’t listen to music I know, but that sort of chill lo-fi stuff is really good
