I take the more expansive view of shipping as meaning ‘this relationship intrigues me, I want to think about them’, be it platonic/romantic/sexual/secret unnamed thing. A lot of Doctor + companion pairs are just too intense about each other to not want to put them under a microscope and examine their relationship more intently than the text does, look at it through a different lens, or extrapolate from what’s already there.
And Thoschei, I mean, it’s just so interesting. Great potential for drama and angst when taken seriously, but at the same time great potential for comedy. Plus, mismatching Doctors and Masters is such a fun dynamic.

- Yrcanos (but only if Peri is also involved)
I’m sure I’m missing someone, but I’m only counting DW-exclusive ships above. I also have some ships for him that crossover into different fandoms.
I also like Peri/Danny Pink.

I don’t know what led me to that pairing, but even though Peri’s canonical preference is “blond”, she strikes me as someone who would be attracted to men of his race. It also helps that he’s a protector, loyal, intelligent, and likes children, so I think they’d have more in common than just being physically interested in each other.
