Searching by: Date ranges, Decades or Multiple years

When using the advanced search could a feature be added where you can sort by multiple release years, by a range from one year to another, or perhaps just a decade selector in addition to the individual years.

this would be useful as sometimes I just want to see every first doctor story produced during his time on tv, or as a way of making sure I’ve not missed a story, however just sorting by oldest can make it hard to determine when this cutoff date is without having to check every individual story’s release date.

I might be the only person who has ever needed this, but though I’d ask.

There’s already a way to do this through the Character Tracker. Go to the Character Tracker, select the First Doctor, and then scroll down through the filter sidebar and either use the “Release Date Range” or select an individual year.

Thank you! I hadn’t realized that the filters on the sidebar were different from those available in the advanced search.

It sounds like you could also do what you want with the searxh all stories page by just filtering for stories with the 1st Doctor.

Im not really sure what you mean by missing stories that came out duering his erasince The 1st Doctor’s TV era does have a hard cutoff date

I am trying to consume all the extended media from the 60s and so limiting the stories that show up when i search makes it seem more achievable which helps me keep motivated.

I know the first doctor’s era doesn’t have a hard cutoff point but just more generally to make sure i have seen all first doctor stories from the 60s without later ones showing up.
