Well, that’s a regrettable loss. We lose the legends one at a time.

Very sad. Only watched Talons for the first time last week. A wonderful actor.

RIP. Jago & Litefoot is my favourite BF range. He appeared in 3 Doctor Who stories & loads of UK genre tv - Danger Man, The Prisoner, The Avengers. Such a great character actor.

Already 2025’s losses are too high. RIP Christopher, and thanks for your terrific performances in Doctor Who, Hawk the Slayer, Dick Turpin and various Big Finish productions.

Oh no… What sad news. An absolutely wonderful actor, and hearing his voice always makes me feel so warm and cosy. Rest in peace. <3

Sir Keith Gold - Inferno
Henry Gordon Jago - The Talons of Weng-Chiang and more in BF
Colonel Hugh - The Unicorn and the Wasp

Thought he was very good in all three roles, though of course Jago is the one that probably sticks with us all the most, part of the iconic duo with Baxter’s Litefoot. I haven’t listened to his BF stuff yet, but I do intend to. He will be missed.

I also didn’t see anything about Barbara Clegg’s passing on here, maybe I just missed it. The first proper female writer for TV Doctor Who (who wasn’t just added as a credit despite not having written the story) with her story Enlightenment. Certainly important in Who’s history, and will also be missed.

Very sad. And strange, I was listening to the start of one of his audios just this morning (confirming a change someone requested - there is a mistake on one of the Big Finish synopses).

I haven’t heard much of his work but I do intend to someday.

I had missed this but saw it under some comments about Benjamin’s passing. Two sad losses.

I need basically no excuse to re-listen to Jago And Litefoot but this absolutely the number one reason I would. Sad that we’ve now lost both of them, but what a joy to have been given so many extra stories with two of the most memorable companions (YES THEY COUNT) to have appeared on the show. I hope that Elsie is pulling him a pint of the best half and half in the Red Tavern as we speak. Lights are off at The Palace Theatre tonight.

Just heard on Radio 4 there was a Last Words segment about Barbara Clegg by Toby Hadoke. Very nice.
