UPDATE: I’ve built the moderation tools, so now everyone can write reviews, whether verified or not!
It’s still best to get yourself verified though, and you get a shiny badge.

@shauny I noticed something review-related, and wasn’t sure where to put it, so chose this topic.
Basically, I was taking a look at the page for Torchwood: Endgame and thought the average rating (3.42 stars) was surprisingly low, so I checked out the rating distribution. It surprised me that the distribution graph only had 5 ratings while the page itself said there were 6. Plus, the distribution graph had a much higher average rating (more than 4 stars) than the story itself.
I think this might be a review bug: there is a review up for Endgame, and though it’s pretty positive, it doesn’t have an attached rating. I think the site has registered the review as having a rating of 0 stars as a result, which has brought the overall rating down. (I even did some maths, and it checks out!)
It’s a small thing but I thought I’d bring it to your attention. <3
Interesting, I’ll take a look and let you know what it was - thanks for pointing this out!
This is fixed now!
Somehow someone had managed to rate it but give it 0 instead of null. I have put in some extra protections now so it should not happen again.
There is a chance it may have affected some other stories, so I’ll be running a full sweep of them all and double checking the integrity of the ratings.
Thanks again for spotting it!
Thank you for your wonderful dedication to the site! <3 <3
