Do you plan on adding these three books? They all contain short narrative content and thought that they might be glossed over for being activity books

There’s plenty of fourth wall breaking in the show already. Your beloved Capaldi does it all the time!

Is there a reason that only some of the features in these books have been added, may I ask? I understand that they toe the line between narrative and fact file, but it does feel odd not to include things like “Around Leadworth” when they include information about the setting - particularly when glorified blurbs like “Meet Rose” from the first new series annual get an entry (let alone the sock puppet theatre stuff).
To be clear, I’m totally for making the site as comprehensive as possible, and wouldn’t protest notable charity anthologies being included, for instance, can of worms aside.

It was indeed. To answer @ClydeLangerRules’s query - we went back and forth a bit on these. A lot of the items that the wiki claimsa are short stories, aren’t really. They are bits and pieces in different styles of writing - photo stories, letters, texts, maps etc. Around Leadworth, for example, isn’t really a story. It’s a bit of fun related to the TV story but it doesn’t have a narrative. It’s sort of factual fiction. A lot of the Brilliant Book things are just re-telling TV stories from different points of view. I almost added the Churchill stuff but it was so bitty it was difficult to categorise under our current headings, like a lot of the stuff.
There is definitely an argument to add these things (and the plan is to add everything eventually). Things like Meet Rose sort of slipped through and possibly wouldn’t if they’d been discussed a bit more.
So we decided to put in the short stories and leave the rest till later.

Again, it’s been discussed but it’s where you draw the line in terms of fan works. For now we’re sticking to ‘official’ or ‘licensed’ works (with the odd exception because what would Doctor Who be without the odd exception).
That’s fair enough. I hope they do get added eventually, but I totally understand why they’re low priority/dubious. Thanks for the thoughtful response.
