Revamping Story Imports – Get Involved!

Okey this is another one. Fleeting Faces is an ombibus version of three stories those being Doctor Who The Official Annual 2025 's Destination: Skaro [+], Doctor Who The Official Annual 2024 's Under Control [+], and Ten Days of Christmas 's Into Control [+] (itself an adaption of the comic story of the same name [+] published in the prior annual). As such, no new material was included.

How to handle this? Should they just be related stories?

Okay, new question. If an annual has a short story that is just an extraction from a book, and the short story has a different name than the book, is this a story or nothing?

  • New namne = Story
  • Not a story - The book is the story!

@shauny - Doctor Who Modern Annuals are now moved to done.

  • There is a separate page for all the stories that are on the guide but need to be attached to new sets.
  • One story is not green that story’s fate is decided by the poll above This is now removed
  • 2025 is not on there. I hope that @DontBlink can help us with that one because I have no way of looking what is a story and what is not.
  • Two stories are purple. These are comic versions of stories on the site. Are those:
  • Adaptations
  • Variations

NEW VOTE

We have two stories on the site that do not qulify as stories with the definition we have today. These are:

One of them has been rated 30 times. We could change it from Short Story to other Prose, but we will not add any other similar content.

Should we:

  • Remove them
  • Keep them
  • Keep them as other prose even if we will not add other similar stuff in the future

OK, I’ve imported all the Annuals stories!!

I think they need a quick check over before I announce to everyone… but it’s getting late so will do that tomorrow. Feel free to have a look.
