Shouldn’t Five’s be Androzani?

Voted for The War Games, Logopolis, and The Parting of the Ways.

This is also Time and the Rani erasure :sob: :joy:

I was thinking about what I want from 15’s regeneration story, and ultimately I really want the villain to not be a recurring one, or rather one of the main ones. Hell, give him a Silurian regeneration story! New Who so far has had the Daleks, Cybermen or the Master in every regeneration story :sob:

Whoops! Changing  It’s been a long day lol.

Well.. Sorta kinda.

Although 14 did buck the trend, which is a point in his era’s favour! General point taken though - it’d be nice to get a solid regeneration story for a mainline Doctor without the big three.

I want 15s regeneration cause to be quite gruesome. Idk why i want that but im tired of big laser death

True, but still a returning villain nonetheless. I’d probs like it more if they didn’t do the bigeneration shudders

Logopolis.
The Parting of the Ways.
The Power of the Doctor.

True, but at least it was a villain plucked from the 1960s (and one who hasn’t had much in the way of material since). It felt somewhat fresher than the usual trends. I wouldn’t be against this happening again tbf, but I also would love a brand new villain for a regeneration story too

I voted for Androzani for obvious reasons even though I don’t like the actual story itself :upside_down_face:. I do like Legopolis, though.

Nine’s always scores high on these polls. I still haven’t got around to watching it, although it seems interesting.

I lowkey want another Doctor to be shot, although we all know the real cause of 7s regeneration was the American healthcare system

I’ve went with The Parting of the Ways (popular choice!!!) I just love this story, the two-parter as a whole is brilliant. Twice Upon a Time is an interesting one, I hate hate hate how 1 is characterised most of the time but he has some great moments, and there’s just lots of comfort moments in this episode for me. Also The Brink of Death, just for the regeneration scene alone. I love how they handled it, the music and atmosphere just was sublime. “They died with me…” sticks in my mind a lot from that regen.

I’ve always liked the idea of a Doctor who is shot (or whatever) and dies in the Master’s arms, a mirror of what happened in Last of the Time Lords. Would be interesting to see the Doctor’s number #1 enemy/friend be the one comforting them as they regenerate.

Oh yeah, that would be super cool to see

Logopolis is the best. 100% true.

The Watcher. Such a unique idea, of course not all unique ideas are good
…Bigeneration.

I refuse to listen to Six’s so-called regeneration audio. Nope. I rebuke all of it.

Lovely Idea! For me, it’s easily The War Games the golden Standard for a Regeneration in my Eyes. Closely followed Night of the Doctor and then Caves.
As for the others:
There are bits I love in the Tenth Planet, but I respect it more than adoring it. (That said, the Cybermen are superb in this Story).
I really like Planet of the Spiders!!
I enjoy Logopolis!
I am indifferent about The Brink of Death honestly, such a hard Story to make my Mind up.
Love the TV Movie, I do love how sudden 7’s Death comes, but I would lie if I didn’t say how much I would have liked for 7 to have a more typical Regeneration Story.
Parting of the Ways is brilliant!!
End of time exists.
Time of the Doctor is messy and has one of the worst Openings, but I like it.
Twice Upon a Time
Love love Power of the Doctor!
Not too thrilled about the Giggle.
Very curious to see what kind of Story 15 gets to regenerate! Not sure what I expect/hope for it, other than a shake-up in the regeneration effect.
