We did some experiments with it like a year ago, but we never understood how it worked.

Also even disregarding the weird feature, ranking the Doctors always gets hard for me after my top 4 and bottom 3 
Literally changes every time and the lower ones in the middle I’m always mad are so low

This is just my theory but I think it calculates the winner of each round by how high they are ranked and the Doctor with the lowest is eliminated? Don’t take my word for it though.

I began ranking them and realised it was impossible. I know my top and bottom and the rest are sort of a mesh in the middle.

I know my top five (12, 8, 7, 5 and 4) and my bottom three (War, Fugitive and 14 - just because they have so few appearances), but everyone in between is always pretty changeable whenever I do a ranking like this. I’ve had a go, but not sure how that affects the poll

Oh me too that’s why I always say that it’s ever changing when doing it, now I would say my Top 4 stays the same but I fear it’s changing as well way too often (only my Bottom spot remains the same). That said my ranking has stayed the same for a good while so that’s great

My ranking for favorite Doctors (characterization) is different from favorite Doctors (storylines), but I voted in alignment with the former. I feel like I’ve done this so many times that it was pretty easy to rank them this time.

Not entirely sure what happened, but today’s order for me was:
17 - War
16 - Fugitive
15 - Fourteen
14 - Six
13 - Eight
12 - Fifteen
11 - Five
10 - Thirteen
9 - Nine
8 - One
7 - Seven
6 - Eleven
5 - Ten
4 - Two
3 - Twelve
2 - Three
1 - Four
All are good; some haven’t had enough time to grow on me; some I’m hoping for big things from their BF appearances; and some are just iconic.

OK so I looked it up and this feature works using Instant-runoff voting, which is an election system.
The ‘rounds’ are part of that, and it fairly decides a winner based on the ranks.
So it’s a bit confusing but really powerful!

Nightmare on mobile. Every time I tab out to look at my ranking it loses my choices so far.

I think we found our new Elimination Game. Everyone ranks the choices and it does all the work for us. Everyone can even use a preference revealer algorithm to help with the ranking.
