So I finished Revenge of Wormwood! I think the overall arc was better than Beyond Bannerman Road’s, but the individual stories (other than the finale) didn’t grab me as well as the first two stories of Beyond Bannerman Road. My main two criticisms of the set as a whole are that I agree with everyone above that I’m sick of the will they/won’t they, and that (spoilers for Beyond Bannerman Road) it’s infuriating that they just totally moved on from Clyde’s grief of not getting to be a dad and being betrayed by his partner. There’s so much room to explore this in this sequel set and they just didn’t and they moved on to focus on Clani??? It’s so bizarre. Why even bring in the dad subplot and do nowt with it…
