Doing some idle surfing through the guide and found the Castellan as seen in Arc of Infinity and The Five Doctors is named as Jerricho - which is the surname of the actor who plays him.
But no expanded universe stories are listed on his character page so where does him being called Jerricho as a character come from?
Jerrichoās name comes from his actorās surname.

I remember watching that during lockdown. But Iām still not seeing the reason for calling him Jerricho. That TARDIS wiki literally says he is never named āin universeā and refers to him as the Castellan for the majority of it. It smacks of someone just deciding to give him a name (with not a lot of imagination) and making it āofficialā by putting it on TARDIS wiki. There is literally no source whatsoever for that name!
Closest I was able to find was in āTime In Officeā, the Doctor says to the next Castellan āThat sort of sleight-of-hand is worthy of your late predecessor, Castellan ā um ā You know, I donāt think I ever caught his name.ā
Precisely - in universe he is specifically never named and that is lampshaded in Time in Office.
Well, Iām happy to change it, although what should we change it to?
Shall we make up a different name

Frankly, I just think he should be called The Castellan or Castellan. Thatās what heās called in all of his appearances.
Oh hold on, Iāve spotted one other reference in that wiki article for A Brief History of Time Lords which might be where itās from (itās not stated in the article that this is where itās from).
In the Tardis wiki, he used to be listed as āUn-named male Castellan (killed) (DW: Arc of Infinity, DW: The Five Doctors)āā¦
