Yeah, it’s really a rock and a hard place. I went with Mindwarp because at least it’s interesting. Plus the bikini should be docked points for its proximity to Turlough’s shocking outfit (and even worse hairdo!).
I’ve come to the conclusion you’re right.
So of course her actual best outfit is now losing its poll! At least it’s to something less horribly dated than the Matlock one. (Edit: Oh, Flora’s already dragged you all for it. On this, at least, we agree.)

Gonna be real I like the RotD2 look well enough but cannot begin to understand how it beat the Rani dress and is now on track to beat the Mindwarp look like both of those are top 5 looks.
Not totally shocked to see Planet of Fire and The Twin Dilemma be a close matchup because they’re both incredible, but I did kinda expect Twin Dilemma to be doing a little better. It’s an easy second place overall for me and it’s literally such a cute outfit that they gave her a whole little scene to just show it off

My issue with the Rani dress is I’ve never thought it flatters Bryant’s figure. I know it’s the period style - and I don’t want to sound shallow - but I’ve always thought it makes her look uncomfortable the whole time. It doesn’t help that I don’t think the hairstyle works for her either. I think it looks slightly better without the jacket but it’s just too padded.

I don’t see how the Mindwarp one not only made it out of the first round but is also currently winning.
It’s a cluttered mess and easily her worst outfit in the entire series.

Mindwarp look is incredibly cute and one of her best looks. Don’t understand at all how you see it as a “cluttered mess” tbh. It’s a pretty simple and cohesive look

It’s the over use of patterns and lack of a cohesive color scheme that turns me off. I find it disorienting to look at and now add in the baggyness on top of the clashing bright colors and yeah it looks messy. Especially compared to her other more coordinated fits.
Also, mind you, the lighting in some of those shots does not do the outfit any favors.

I just don’t see any of that. It’s a perfectly cohesive pink and blue color scheme and there’s only pattern on the outer layer so I wouldn’t say it’s overused or clashes with anything. Not liking the bagginess or brightness is fair enough (though I like the slightly baggy look on her and I think it’s a lot more muted than say the AotC or Varos pink and blue) I just struggle to see it as messy when I think it’s ultimately a pretty simple outfit and every part of it works together really well
