That’s what I thought when I first watched the serial haha. But I don’t care for her Timelash outfit at all and the blue coat and beret have begun to appeal to me since then.

The story goes that Nicola Bryant turned up to a photo call in the leotard/shorts combo and JNT loved it so much he decreed she would wear variations of it as Peri. I’m not sure it was one of JNT’s better decisions…

I wish the staff would have heeded the character study Nicola drafted for Peri[1], because for who her character is, some of Peri’s outfits don’t really match her supposed personality and characterization in my opinion. She’s supposed to be this hip, trendy college student, but Nicola’s convention attire in the 1980s is more Peri than Peri is sometimes. That being said, I still love many of Peri’s outfits.

Yall are SO wrong for voting her worst outfit (The Mysterious Planet) over her best (Attack Part 1). Obviously in context the latter makes no sense, but it’s a great color and great material, and I’d wear a sleeveless version ALL THE TIME.

Well she wore it for the photo call because JNT asked her to wear something short/clingy to begin with, but yeah. I do actually generally like the leotard and shorts look on her, and especially the ones she wore outside the show for photoshoots/press events, but I think the AotC one just looks like it doesn’t fit her well and the bright pink is not the best color. Varos pulls off the concept much better.

It’s marginally better without the jacket, but I really don’t think that dress is a very flattering look for her. I don’t care for it.
