She was amazing in Andor! Such a good choice for a companion

Probably to get rid of all the rumors about how they are kicking Ruby off the Show.
She is a great actor. Other than andor she was good in Strike Back. It’ll be great to have 2 companions again. It does kinda get boring with just one sometimes.

I guess they posted this for (very late) damage control, but it feels weird to learn about stuff that won’t even air for over a year.
It’s weird looking at this now, after the era is over, that they announced Belinda before Season 1 even aired. And that it was still being framed as joining the Doctor and Ruby. I wonder if we’ll ever learn the truth about what down behind the scenes of this era? Was there disagreements and firings, or was the Ruby departure even partially planned? I don’t remember there being this much uncertainty about what transpired behind the scenes in other seasons except maybe Series 1 with Eccleston.
