Calling @DarthGallifrey
They look a bit … Photoshopped.
Those are certainly some janky covers! Barbara especially is looking like she’s about to lose her face.
Noooo!
100% real, original pictures.
Rose and Barbara look slightly off. I wonder if Billie Piper’s image ban has expired. That’s why her photo disappeared off the novels (although I imagine an illustration is a different situation).
I wonder if the Dracula one is set before or after The Chase…
There was a ban? How come?
As I understand it, Piper withdrew her permission (or her agents did).
So it lead to this spot the difference:
TIL.
I had wondered why I had two different versions of The Resurrection Casket.
I think it was because of prior arrangements she made in her pop star life, but it’s all just speculation at the end of the day
That’s why Rose isn’t on the front of my copies of The Art of Destruction and The Price of Paradise!
As for the two new novels, they look interesting.
I might buy Frankenstein and the Patchwork Man.
Not the best of Covers, but I am the only one who prefers the Dracula one…? I have been seeing People thinking it’s the very worst and while not perfect I think the Frankenstein one looks much odder to me, especially with Billie’s Likeness being so weird (she looks more like Sarah Michelle Gellar here!)
Anyway I am excited for Dracula, it’s Margs, it’s the first Doctor, that’s always exciting (so glad it’s the first Doctor and not 8 )
Depending on if I hear good Words I might try Frankenstein and the Patchwork Man as well or wait for it a while, but we’ll see.
Yes, I prefer the Dracula to the Buffy, sorry, Frankenstein cover. But Barbara seems to have aged? The Buffy cover is weird because they seem to be both running and holding onto the tombstones?

I forgot this was out having only just got Season 2! Guess I’ll be ordering that later…!
