Fr. Should’ve just invested in the main show imo, then maybe a spinoff by season two. But ig they don’t need to build up the characters ina second season for the spinoff, because Kate is already very established.
Same with not being as keen on the era. I came across a term calling it “the comfort era” which is kinda cute, but I’d rather have unrestrained angst and cosmic horror to give children nightmares.

Oooh, more Russell Tovey in Doctor Who, and directed by Dylan Holmes-Williams who did a great job with 73 Yards and Dot and Bubble… turns out the UNIT spinoff and the Sea Devils spinoff are the same thing. Very interesting!
