The TARDIS lands on board a luxury space liner owned by the interstellar shipping magnate, Marilyn Moon. The Moon Cruise offers its wealthy passengers up-close views of astounding cosmic wonders and the Doctor and Belinda are soon high rolling it on the top deck.
But there is a sinister side to life on board. What is the secret of the smiling, blonde-haired mannequins? What happens to the cruise ship workers when they go off shift? The Doctor soon learns that not all prisons come with bars on the windows, while Belinda faces one of the greatest cruelties in the universe â a zero-pay contract in retail and hospitality that can never be brokenâŚ
It was when the show was at its peak popularity-wise, so it makes sense. But it is a shame that 13 only got three. Fortunately, she got some other types of books as well.
The tenth doctor NSAs vary WILDLY in quality. When theyâre bad theyâre really bad. The majority of mid. A handful are them are some of my favorite pieces of Doctor Who media across any medium. I think when I finish them Iâm going to compile some sort of list of âskip these, these are good if youâre just looking for more ten content (even if itâs sort of mid), and these are amazing.â The NSAs also moved Martha Jones up from my second favorite companion to probably tied for first. Her character gets expanded on so much more in some of those books. Martha âhe wasnât a proper doctor, but she wasâ Jones. Martha âtwisted sense of dutyâ Jones. Martha âfigurehead of the rebellionâ Jones. (First two quotes from Pirate Loop, third one from The Story of Martha).
Read Ruby Red today because Iâm still in mourning. Really, really good! Felt like it could have slotted right into s1 between TDC and Boom. Very unique setting too, and I loved the Space Amazon mercenaries.
