They eventually put out “Revisitation” boxsets with some of the earlier releases given new extras, cleaned up, and new covers. And some of them were given their own special editions later on too.
Some of those early covers are so rubbish

Finally got my War Games steelbook… and once again they’ve stacked the discs on top of each other! Compared to series 14 it’s obviously not nearly as bad, since it’s just two discs per hub instead of three or four, but surely they could make them with flippers, or the overlapping design used for 2- and 3-disc steels.

Bought these two for some birthday money I got

Not quite as redundant as my 11 Doctors, 11 Stories. I got the 12 Doctors, 12 Stories, 12 Postcards release because I think the individual books in the slipcase are pretty neat, but I only got one new story out of that. At least you got two.
Kind of reminds me of getting The Doctor Who Stories when I already had The Heroes & Monsters Collection. Though in that case, I didn’t know the books overlapped (The Stories only having two stories that weren’t also included in Heroes and Monsters).

It has the only 14th Doctor story I haven’t experienced.
(The character tracker on this site is really having a too influence on me these days )
