Well, I’ve still got one heart, which puts me on a per with Eight…
I’m still amazed I got them all for reasonable prices. A few were £20 but most were less than £10!
But I think they’re way more expensive now than they were when I started. I got stuff like Vampire Science and Alien Bodies for under £5, and nowadays you’re lucky to get them for twice that, unfortunately!

I keep saying I wouldn’t buy new books until I finish a few but I can’t resist a request to go to a bookstore. I got 2 books and one of them is a good find. I was expecting to at least find a few classic target books as I’ve got some there before but wasn’t expecting something like this.
Two items my ever-tolerant wife has picked up for me (and DWM cos I got it the same day as the T-Shirt and forgot to post the pic). The TARDIS is a bird feeder from B&M and will go on our bird feeder pole we inherited from my Dad’s garage.

Today’s lucky find. I was running errands nearby and decided to look since sometimes they have music CDs I like - this was a surprise!
Well, an odd one today.
For the Lethbridge-Stewart/UNIT books, I usually place my orders through a distributor. This means I get them way, way, way after they come out, but I also pay about half what I pay if I order directly from the publisher (which makes no logical sense).
Anyway, the distributor doesn’t get everything, so I recently placed an order with Candy Jar books for The Benton Files 4, 5 & 6, Benton and Hawthorne Investigate, and a bundle of UNIT books 3 & 4. Only the first two are out, the rest are pre-orders.
So, what arrived today? The Benton Files 4 & 5 (no shock there) and UNIT book #2 The Catacombs of Seville, which I had not ordered from Candy Jar.
So, I shot them an e-mail to see what’s going on. I’m hoping they say I’m still getting #s 3 & 4 and I can just keep Catacombs, and that if they say that I am able to cancel the order I placed for Catacombs from Blackwell’s before they send it out.
Because I haven’t gotten it from the vendor I ordered it from, but did get it from the vendor I didn’t order it from. Very odd.
