I have that one. Liked it so much, I bought the first AHistory (2006). And the third AHistory (2012). Never got the last, multiple-volume one (2018), though.
So are you going to read Terror Moon while everyone else reads Night of the Kraken? That could be weird.

Two things are major crimes against bookanity. Stickers on books and dog ears as bookmarks. If you do either of those, you’re my lifelong nemesis!

That’s a grey area - it depends on how many notes, what kind of notes and if they are entertaining (like @Jae said). So you might be safe

Mostly I just underline bits I find interesting or meaningful. But I don’t always use a ruler…
