Been taking something of a trip down memory lane with the music I’ve listened to of late.
Must have only been a toddler when this song was released, but I have weirdly vivid memories of hearing it played in a long-since demolished branch of TESCO.

A lot of people do. It’s a silly 90s pastiche and a joke entry, but they spread joy and happiness in these dark and gloomy times we live in. And, on behalf of the Finnish population, sorry for leaving Sweden with 0 points in our televote. I don’t know why it happened, because you would’ve earned a few points at least. Perhaps we’re still salty about Loreen…
It was a great Eurovision night for us! Switzerland and Nemo are worthy winners, even though my favourite was Croatia. Congrats to Nemo for taking the contest back home, so to speak. Finland did as expected, let’s hope for something different next year. The Netherlands DQ was a bit harsh and Norway did not deserve to come last (they were in my Top 3!). So happy to see Germany and Ireland do well for a change. I also don’t understand why the UK received 0 points from the televote. I quite liked Olly’s song and the performance, though I can see that it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.

I just need for us here in Denmark to pick a song that can get in the final next year. We haven’t been in one since 2019 
Saba that entered this year had a beautiful song and a great voice but lacked stage presence - she just stood there without dancers or anything and kept moving her hands in strange ways. People here just haven’t figured out that having a good song isn’t enough - you need pizzazz!

Yes, you seem to be struggling with qualifying lately, while Finland has been getting through in 4 consecutive years. You’ve had good songs, though, but as you said, you need more pizzazz or flair, perhaps. Let’s hope you get your act together next year and make it to the final!

It was a hundred times better in staging and performance than some of what got through. At least she didn’t feel the need to have a lie down on stage like 90% of the other acts!
