Today’s ipod playlist begins with The National, followed by New Order, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, and Nina Simone.
Gruff Rhys’s American Interior Remastered is out today! One of my favourite artists
I’ve seen so many artists live in my life, but neither of those, so I’m slightly jealous!
A new old My Chemical Romance song was just released. Yippee!!!
Oh I’ve accidentally stumbled across @SweetAIBelle 's first post!
I’d forgotten that’s where my first post was.
I already knew shauny at that point from mastodon, and had even made suggestions on the tardis guide, but hadn’t actually been to the forums until then.
I have a tendency to just go straight to posting in forums rather then doing an introduction, too, so the introduction came later.
Angeleyes is the best ABBA song.
(I don’t know if that’s controversial or not but that’s my take)
They have so many great songs that I don’t even know if I can pick a favourite. But Angeleyes is certainly a great pick!
Not particularly. I think most ABBA fans’ favorite is either Angeleyes or The Day Before You Came.
Mine is Waterloo because I’m basic, but they’re both in my top five.
My favourite ABBA song always changes, but Slipping through my fingers is definitely one of them. So are Dancing Queen and Mamma Mia, which might be basic, but they can always cheer me up. Relatedly, I had great fun Thursday evening because I watched Mamma Mia at the uni cinema with like six hundred other people
- Waterloo
- The Day Before You Came
- Knowing Me, Knowing You
- As Good as New
- Angeleyes
Today, anyway.
NIN has been playing most of the day, but I’ve told Alexa to play Lonely Mountain Band for the cats while I Who.
Seems to me like I’ve listened to a lot of songs about California…
