I’ve listened to that cast recording more times than I can count. Maybe he was the weakest singer in the cast, but he did not have the worst American accent in the cast.

Listening to this right now. I don’t necessarily listen the Caretaker’s album as I’m scared of the most of the tracks , but this one is just sad and peaceful at the same time

Trying to get into some more Classical music. So here’s Beethoven’s 1st Symphony. Surprisingly, apart from a couple mentions, Beethoven only actually appears twice in Whoniverse stories: as a baby in Gone Too Soon · Short Trips · TARDIS Guide and briefly as an adult in The Lonely Computer · · TARDIS Guide. I think it’s high time Beethoven make a reappearance.

I’m not a big classical fan, but I highly recommend the Art of Noise’s The Seduction of Claude Debussy album, which reworks elements of Debussy pieces into ambient electronic and dance tracks. Narrated by the War Doctor himself!
John Hurt saying, “When Debussy died, on March 25, 1918 in Paris, it was being bombarded by the Germans. And it was raining…” lives rent-free in my head.

There’s actually a lot of Classical music that can be translated into Metal. Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata is one example. The “Third Movement” is very metal.

My knowledge of classical music is limited. I have seen some classical performances, & some contemporary classical.
I love this, very nice to listen to early in the morning.
