With our family, it’s usually the day after Thanksgiving.
A lot of this group isn’t in the US, though, and Thanksgiving’s not a particularly universal holiday.
Yeah, I know. I was just curious. I might still post some in November, but after a handful of “it’s too early, why are stores putting out Christmas” posts, I figured it best to ask.
Sunday 1st December is the beginning of Advent so I decree that as the day when Christmas music will be allowed on TARDIS Guide.
Well, in Finland (and Sweden), we have this thing called “little Christmas” (literally), which is usually around the end of November. That’s a perfect time to begin listening to Christmas songs!
I don’t know why I this morning suddenly thought of this song by the (brilliant) Danish band Kashmir:
Edit: I thought the title would show up. It’s Vote 4 Dick Taid…
Oooh, I love Kashmir!
One of my favourite Danish things!
I need to listen to some Kashmir today, thanks for reminding me!
Did not know them. Brilliant indeed. Thanx.
There’s a pretty good chance you’ve watched the music video of Weird Al’s White and Nerdy. But have you watched the take where Donny Osmond is dancing behind him for the entire video, instead of just a few scenes?
