Interesting: The Hu - Bosoo Huh Mongol
“a band from Mongolia that blends the screaming guitars of heavy metal and traditional Mongolian guttural singing,” --NPR
love this song. for several reasons, always makes me think about The Omega Factor (which are audios you definitely want to listen to… you want to hear them…)
Just finished writing my review of ‘Leviathan’ - 9/10 brilliant outing for anyone wondering.
Just realised what’s next up… ‘The Hollows of Time’.
Chilling with some club music before I dive into this one, because oh boy is it BAD
You know what isn’t bad?

Meant to post this last week after seeing the show live finally. A lot of good mash ups and medleys in this show but this was my favourite new one that wasn’t in the original film:
The choreography on the Bad Romance number was phenomenal too.
I’ve only just learned this remix was done by Ian Levine!
How is the show? I’ve never seen it because I’m terrified I won’t like it and it will mar how much I love the movie.
Sorry, meant to reply to this!
I’m a huge fan of the film (in fact of Lurhman’s whole Red Curtain trilogy). So yes, I was worried about it disappointing (especially as I’d seen the cast perform a bit on BGT or Children in Need or something and found it a bit underwhelming).
But I can safely say it works really well as a stage show. The additional numbers work really well - the one I linked above is easily my favourite of the show - and the plot has been tweaked a little bit but still works really well. The choroegraphy is stunning and the set and costumes are sumptuous (and the whole theatre, right up to the Grand Circle where we were sitting, is draped in red curtains and lights. It’s very immersive.
