Over the past year, I’ve been having fun creating a Youtube playlist out of my church’s hymnal. I’m finding songs that I remember loving from my childhood (when using the hymnal was very common before more modern praise music took over), songs I’d never heard before or only vaguely remembered, and new ones that are awesome and make me wonder why we never sung this before. There are songs that are older than I thought, and some that are newer than I thought. In my master playlist, I’m at Hymn #355 (out of 787 though some of those numbers are readings), and I want to share these amazing songs and poems with you guys. So, as the year goes on, I’ll be making posts here (unless the moderators think I should start a separate thread) for the various hymns. I haven’t decided if I’ll do all the hymns, or just jump around with my favorites.
