Mug of the Day

Let’s be honest, we need this (if only to keep the Scandi Army contained :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:)

Today my mug is a graph of redshift! And I really need a haircut…

I heartily endorse any thread designed to keep tabs on the Scandi Club. This domination of the leaderboard cannot be tolerated.

I just use a sports direct mug unfortunately, it’s great for holding a lot of tea, bt not as photogenic

What fika is it in the background?

Aaah, yes! We had friends over for salmon soup and fika. That is the aptly named Danish pastry, or as we say in Swedish and Finnish, wienerbröd.

I thought of @BillFiler when we had them. We had the coffee milk in this cute jug.

That is a cute one. We have this print of that one :star_struck:

Sounds delicious

We also call it Wienerbrød in Denmark. But that’s just more of a general description for any type of dessert pastry. We got a looot of different kinds :yum:

Are you disappointed that no-one made a Dalekanium joke about your coffee mug?

Now that you mention it, yes I am.

@Tian, being the Swede he is, immediately started thinking about fika! :joy::joy:

My favourite one. Coffee at 18:30 is a good idea right?

Coffee is always a great idea!

I don’t drink coffee or tea and usually only use mugs for soup, but I couldn’t resist sharing one of my family’s Christmas mugs (and I apologize for any weird photo orientations).
