When you do we are here to support you!
Likewise! Hopefully, I’ll be able to retain my eyesight to see around WITH after watching the aforementioned K9 TV show…
No no, K9 the series is brilliant… trust me… you definitely won’t question your sanity watching it…
Watching K9 all the way through is the ultimate test of faith - you come out of it in one of two ways: insane and broken or stronger and more in love with the good parts of DW than ever before!
Only a handful of us have dared to take the test - not even the creator of this site has finished it yet
By the way, this is the greatest introduction topic I have ever come across! Well done, everyone!
Welcome! That is indeed a most impressive and interesting introduction and I look forward to seeing your other contributions around the forum!!
A solemn kneel before the Almighty and Omnipresent. In sincerity, I am moved by how wholesome of a community you’ve gathered; there’s a proper ‘family’ feel in the air. Fare well and fare onward, Creator!
Well Mr. Mobius, (actually I don’t know if “mister” fits, do you have a rank to address you by?), anyway, apart from just generally browsing through the multitude of topics here, there are a handful of ready-made jumping on points that we here call “clubs”. These clubs have no expiration date and jumped into and out of in any order. I hereby formally invite you to the TV Club, the Book Club, the Audio Club, and the Comic Club.
Welcome, Mobius! I’m sure you’ll have a great time here!
I shall kindly accept thinI shall kindly accept thine courteous invocations and give said ‘clubs’ a scrutinous perusal whenever I’m given the chance.
As for the rank… well, we’ll speak of it again whenever I am worthy of one, haha! Alas, out here, I’m naught but a stranger in a strange land, a space-time sailor, if you will, scrubbing the extent of otherworldly resources for all the lore I can get. A long way to go until any proper ranks or promotions. Nevertheless, it is an absolute pleasure to be aboard with such a fine company as yourself.
I’m sure I will. By-and-large, I shall.
…Lords, there is… a LOT of K9 material to go through.
Sounds good. I’ve posted club schedules in the schedule tag. But be aware that these are constantly in flux. The Audio Club is about to start a side step into the first season of Gallifrey this Saturday, and continues to progress through the Main Range every Friday (we’re currently up to #37 The Sandman this week).
Welcome!
I usually don’t comment on introductions, but what did you think about the film Morbius?
I have nothing of substance to say—not yet, anyway. I only gave it a single, cursory view nearly a week ago. It was something we arranged to watch with my little brother (who is 10 earthly years of age), since he finished the entire NuWho series thus far, from Eccleston to Gatwa. If you’re curious to hear his opinion, he wanted to give The Movie 6 stars out of 5 and was, thereby, reasonably distraught to find no means of giving such a rating. I’m genuinely proud of him.
PS: If you find this reply unsatisfactory and really want to reel out an opinion from me—though it is surely to change in the coming months—I’d say The Movie was definitely rushed, and it feels like it. Even with the gorgeous new rendering of the theme and the completionist/cozy makeover of the TARDIS, the plot in the third act is rushed, and the resolution is clumsy, souring the overall experience. I still love it, don’t get me wrong, but one cannot deny that the film is really campy.
…Oh, wait, goodness me, you were asking about a different film, weren’t you. Must’ve short-circuited there; enthralled by the means of McGann.
Answering your actual question; I have not watched Morbius, nor am I ever planning to.
You should. Come on, it’s got Matt Smith!
As for the TV movie, I agree with your brother. It’s so horrible, I love it. I was just talking about it earlier today. Worst film ever produced, 10/5
Welcome to the forum, @Terra! I hope you enjoy your stay
we’ve ALL been there
A belated bow and a curtsy. Hope you’ll be having lovely days out here, too.
