K9 - How?!?! Why?!?!

You might have to wait for a long time :joy:

That I am revelling in the “nightmare” of it all is a very accurate description :smiling_face_with_sunglasses::joy:

Why the hell don’t I get a mention in that synopsis?!

Flipping Handles has it in for me today…

To be fair, you were mentioned in some of the other threads that I tried. You were quoted on the Controversioal Opinions Thread summary for saying that “I bloody love this place”, which the AI obviously believed was an important thing to point out

Edit: this was the exact wording:

  1. @deltaandthebannermen expands on several points by discussing the memorable nature of the forum community, stating, “I bloody love this place” (#145), and agreeing that the Chibnall era deserves more recognition for its highs and creativity (#390).

Just watched Black Hunger while having lunch. It was actually a good idea, just really terribly executed lol.

And oh no Drake is gone?! This show just got way less pretty

Well, “pretty” certainly is one way to describe good ol’ Smug Face :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

He is an objectively beautiful man!

So do we know why he was written out? Was his far superior acting ability showing the others up?

I was dancing with joy when he was written out. He is, I am sorry to say, a truly horrendous actor. I can only think that he was dropped for quality reasons.

I won’t spoil who he is replaced with.

Hm… Spoiler tagging K9 feels a bit OTT. :joy:

K9 has been taking over my thoughts.

As we watched the James Bond film Dr. No I couldn’t help but think that this could have been solved much quicker if K9 were there :k9:

Also that Dr. No’s hands were quite similar to how Drake had a robot hand.

Oh Drake, you will always be remembered :joy:

This is the first time I’ve seen anyone compare Dr. No with K9, but I love it :joy:

I suppose someone out there had to be a Drake fan, if no one else would be😝

The Last Oak Tree - 3/10

Just truly baffling all round.

Mythological innacuracies (or at least weirdness), everyone’s out of character, completely baffling worldbuilding, dreadful CGI, plenty of strangeness and things that just don’t really make sense, an accent so dreadful it took me out of it, and “The London Museum”???

If you mean The British Museum, say that, if you mean The Museum of London, A) say that, B) Why does it have information about Nottingham??

Loved Drake having a minor problem then immediately giving up and deciding to just blow everything up though.

Forgot to mention but I also watched Black Hunger yesterday

Meh, 4/10 (cba to do a full review)

I binged a few episodes today!

Some of them were actually quite good! Cambridge Spy had potential and they actually time-travelled to 23rd November 1963, but that is where the Doctor Who connection ended unfortunately.

The Lost Library of Ukko was quite fun, and quite different from other episodes, but there were definitely some weird parts.

But then Mutant Copper annoyed me so much because the writer clearly got the word ‘cyborg’ mixed up with something else, and so I wrote this snarky review:

Ah, you’ve reached the more promising middle of the season.

Oh wait just realised just how close we are to each other in the series

Maybe we should try to time it so we see the finale at the same time

November 23? A celebration of Whos worst on its birthday!

The most people watching that series finale at the same time since 2010.

So we just need to find more than five people willing to watch it simultaneously, then!

Go on then, I’ll rewatch the big finale.
