Does anyone know what’s going with Titan Comics and any upcoming stories? I know Covid kinda changed the game and that some runs just had natural endings, but some like the Thirteenth Doctor and even the original Tenth Doctor lines kind of ending in cliffhanger-ish and unfinished fashion. I do hope they continue or produce more ongoing series going forward, but there hasn’t been much that I’ve seen or heard about being announced.
The latest things I’m finding on their website are Doom’s Day and Once Upon a Time Lord. So maybe they are done and the license will go somewhere else with the era. At the moment, the only people producing new comic material appear to be DWM.
So it looks like, based on the thread Fifteenth Doctor Comics announced, that Titan is going to do more comics.
Revitalizing this because I’m curious again, now that the Fifteenth Doctor miniseries is over. Has anyone heard anything?
No news at the moment.
Dan Slott was supposed to do a special comic each year, but…
I love Dan Slott but his problem is tht he’s tied up with Marvel and they are very adamant on not letting him go. And Slott is famously not the fastest comic book writer so he might not have had the chance to do the DW comics he was suppsoed to.
I still haven’t got Once Upon a Time Lord.
I’m hesitant to buy it, as, to be honest, I was not impressed with his recent run on Spider-Man, and Spider-Boy didn’t do the trick for me either.
Yeah, his best work is from earlier in his career. But he seems very passionate about Doctor Who and a real fan. I also haven’t read Once Upon yet but it looks cool.
He put Molly on page, so even though I’m not a fan of his work I begrudgingly respected Once Upon a Time Lord
Yes, a cameo was enough to get me satisfied
As a massive fan of Dark Eyes that single panel made me very happy
I enjoyed Once Upon a Time Lord. Can’t remember much about it, but its left an impression that is was enjoyable at least.
That’s a shame, while I am by far not caught up enough with Titan Material, it does kinda feel like their license to Who is slowly fading away, which would be a shame honestly. But hey we probably have to wait and see, maybe some further News will be coming out later? I will have my fingers crossed for now (and probably try to get caught up with their Material over the year).
Maybe the comics don’t sell as well as expected? It’s a tough business!
This is unfortunately my guess as well. I think that is why they ended Gabbys story on a big cliffhanger in the end of year three when they stopped doing 4 parallel ongoing comics.
