Is This Forum Run By The Programme Director Of The Gallifrey One Convention?

I was reading an old issue of Doctor Who Magazine (I’ve had a bit of a backlog with DWM for a while) and I noticed it mentioned Gallifrey One programme director Shaun Lyons in an article about the U.S. convention, which seemed like a familiar name from this forum and Mastodon.

Is that the same Shaun who runs this forum site?

Oh never mind then, I thought I’d just become a great detective all of a sudden. :joy:

I’m definitely not Sherlock Holmes!

I’m sure Shauny is his legal name as well and it’s not just a nickname on here, nope /j

Excuse me, but it’s actually “shauny” with a small ‘s’. Details are important :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Well since The Shauny Doctor is you and Rule 1 is that the Doctor lies. Hmm…

I don’t like agreeing with someone who advocates an instance of not using a capital letter at the start of someone’s name.

What has happened to me? :smiling_face_with_tear::wink:

I use ‘shauny’ everywhere, back from the days of Gmail when I snagged that, I also was an early adopter of Twitter and got the username, also Instagram.

It’s kind of a determiner if I’ll use a service or not - if I am unable to snag my username then I completely lose interest lol

The lowercase is just because I like how it looks.

The number of people who have offered me money for my username on Twitter (before it imploded) and Instagram!! And the daily attacks I get on Instagram of people trying to steal it lol. Mad.

I’ll make sure to refer to your alter ego as “The shauny Doctor” from now on then
