Yes, I’ve already introduced myself, but I always thought my introduction was too quick and I came to the forum asking for recommendations and help without giving people space to get to know me beyond being a Doctor Who fan So now that the season is over and I intend to continue here (I really liked you guys!) I want to get closer by bringing you some information about myself! Alright, my name is Breno, I’m Brazilian and I’m 18 this year! I just finished regular school and now I’m studying to become a teacher (art educator, I love all kinds of artistic expression and the area of culture in general, besides loving bringing knowledge to others) so I hope to be successful in this career one day! My story with Doctor Who started 4 years ago, in 2021, I ended up having contact with the modern series and since then I’ve binge-watched everything, when The Legend of Sea Devils aired, I was able to follow the series at the time of its release, so it was a year of many adventures! I’m especially in love with Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor and Ncuti Gatwa’s Doctor and, maybe because they’re both my Doctors that I watch weekly, I’ve created a really special connection with them. But overall, it’s hard to choose a favorite era because gosh, this series enchants me every time
I’ve been watching the classic series little by little and recently finished the Third Doctor era. I loved this era and I think that was when I finally created a bond with the classic series, thanks to John Pertwee and his companion Jo Grant! I’m really looking forward to what the future holds for me (although I’ve already seen several separate stories about the other Doctors!) In addition to Doctor Who, I’m passionate about Digimon, which is another franchise that I have a very strong connection with. I also really like manga and anime in general, as well as various Western animations. I’m that person who never loses the spirit of childhood. In my free time, I usually read a lot and I’m currently getting into the expanded universe of the Eighth Doctor with his books because I love Sam Jones and his chemistry with the Eighth Doctor. I also like to draw and study things related to theater, makeup, dance and related things to prepare myself for college! It’s an immense pleasure to be here with you! This place is really cozy and I feel free to be who I really am. I loved meeting you all and I promise to interact more in the topics from now on!
Glad you like it here! The EDAs are great, you have a lot to look forward to
So happy to have you with us!
So glad you’ve felt welcome and comfortable enough to share your story with us. It’s great to have you here (and your profile pic makes a nice change to the rampant use of characters @sircarolyn is obsessed by…)
I take no responsibility for the icons of other people
Says the person constantly brainwashing people into listening to Gallifrey, Countermeasures and the Omega Factor…
It’s lovely to hear your story and about your experience with Doctor Who!
Heyyyy Gallifrey is the only one I’ve had any real success with, it’s not my fault @Jae listens to me blindly!
Great to have you here!
I do. I have secret telepathic powers
Greetings and Salutations! Thank you for sharing your story with us; it was an absolute pleasure to read! Welcome to the forum - I hope you enjoy spending time with us!
Oh, love the artwork, btw!
Huh, so that’s where those thoughts originate…
But I see your avatar isn’t Romana or any other character! I guess snakes needs to be better with her telepathy /t
Welcome! So nice to have you with us, I’m glad you like it here
I do not listen blindly, but attentively. And I really like what I hear
I distinctly recall the phrase 'gotta catch ‘em all’ repeating in my mind, so once I had them, where else was I supposed to keep them?
Telepathy is hard. I’m doing the best I can to spread the Gallifrey/Benny/Ace/etc agenda
Ah that mustve been from when I was playing pokemon pearl
Together we can convert the world to the agenda <3
I am happy to be converted
As long as there’s no upgrading involved, I’m in.
