Changing of the Guard: counter measures I love you!! Allison. Allison please get some self-preservation skills. okay actually i forgive you for this one cause you did go in there with a plan and a chemical weapon. But still. it’s incredible how they’re all talking down Toby in this one and he still gets put back into his position because no one else can deal with Rachel. And they are happy about it too. it’s a well constructed story overall two, with the two different storylines put together rather well. I think this one is a favourite for me

plan is a strong word for a girl who rocks up at gang hq and goes ‘look I’m just a silly girl please tell me everything’

The Concrete Cage: amazing. Creepy, wonderful character moments, Allison gets to be smart, Rachel is so singleminded on science, I love her! Explanation for everything is very weird though, but that’s the only thing about this episode that isn’t perfect

The Forgotten Village: thank you to Big Finish for always being there when I need my heart [1] broken. Allison. Allison you do not deserve any of this. First we learn about her terrible home life and family. And then she gets uh idk how to describe that sickness but she gets it so bad and she has almost no brain function at the end like what the ■■■■!! And Rachel. Not only does she drop everything and also Ian for Allison but her anger at the end. The way she runs out of there crying? Incredible

Unto the Breach: oh the threads, oh the twists! I love how mind bending this one is. Rachel and Gilmore are in top form and amazing, Allison hurts my heart so much. And all the manipulation going on, it’s incredible! this gets 4.5/5 from and that half star is entirely because of the terrible German. I do wonder how well this one works if you do not a single word of it though, because it definitely enhanced the experience for me to understand it (the können sie sprechen? bit was so funny to me)

New Horizons: their heads are so scrambled and Rachel and Allison are getting manipulated from what feels like five different corners. What with Templeton and that other guy having done who knows what to Sir Toby and Gilmore I have no idea at all what anyone is up to. But Rachel is clever and starting to figure it out! Very good, very interested to see where all these threads lead

Threshold: I do think this is both a strong opener and an episode that gets better with relisten. I hate that creepy doll so much!! But I also like how quickly and well it established our main characters and their relationships. That’s definitely the best part of this series.
Artificial Intelligence: Why don’t you love me enough!! Or, the episode when I fell head over heels for Allison. I love how funny Rachel is in this one - she is so smart and so stubborn and so convinced she’s always right. And don’t even get me started about the anniversary wine… I think this one is very atmospheric and very good
Pelage Project: Is this actually a 5* story? It is to me. It’s a bit silly but the team antics are, as the kids say, peak. Again, I love how it showcases the tensions and relationships between them, and I love Allison getting them kicked off the tour to explore. It could be so easy for her to just be Rachel’s little sidekick with no brain or personality but I think generally they do a great job not doing that
State of Emergency: Again, an episode that’s grown on me - it took me a few listens to fully fully understand the plot. Rachel is brilliant in this one - ‘I dropped it… into General Peters’ pocket 
’ - and she and Allison ghost hunting is beautiful. And my Allie… oh, my Allie. She deserves the world

The Keep: how are these people still alive. Like seriously they squabble so much and their plans are so insane and I LOVE THEM!! Especially Rachel and Allison. The way that their response to being mind controlled is just to start doing brain surgery on each other. With the guy Allie’s been having an affair with right there. In that regard. Allison, PLEASE start making better choices regarding men. Married guys are not it. They’re insaaaaaneeee. I love them. And the light is back! Was wondering when that’d happen

Rise and Shine: they continue to all be hilarious. this one ties in with the assassination games a lot, using the rocket launch and everything. They narrowly manage to save the world, Rachel is very clever, they all get to be a little self-sacrificial (it is warranted), Templeton dies (good. Hate that guy)

Threshold is like a solid 7 or 8 out of 10 for me, but Artificial Intelligence is 10/10 I love it. The next one is probably objectively an 8/10 but I love it so it’s 10/10 to me <3

Clean Sweep: they are insannneee. As always. I love them. Allison gets some much needed catharsis, we have some sweet moments between Ian and Rachel and they beat the Light! Except then everything sort of blows up at the end. Still unsure why, or whether they’re okay

Who Killed Toby Kinsella (part 1 the one that is titled this way): I am a little confused as to what is going on but I love the vibes of it. they’re undercover lives are so much fun me. I’m giggling imagining Rachel as a teacher for a decade. It must drive her sooooooo mad
