How to use Spoiler Tags

Here’s how to hide a spoiler behind a blur or a ‘Hide Details’ panel, which require a click/tap to view!

Spoiler Blurs

When composing your message, type out the potential spoiler:

I can’t believe it was the Master all along!

Then highlight the text (one line/paragraph at a time) and click the ‘Blur Spoiler’ button which looks like a magic wand, or the keyboard shortcut CMD-Shift-x

The result will be:

I can’t believe it was the Master all along!

You can also do this for images, select the entire image and click the button:

Hide Details

If you have loads of paragraphs you want to mark as a spoiler, or if you can still see beyond the blur what is behind the image, you can also use the ‘Hide Details’ button.

Click the cog in the toolbar to display more buttons, and choose “Hide Details”:

That will output something like this:

Replace the word Summary with the text you wish to display to everyone, and then between the [details] put all the text and images you wish to hide, like so:

Here are some secret text and images

Yahaha! You found me!

That’s it! If you have any questions, please reply here

Additionally, doing ||this|| like on Discord does not work. Found that out the hard way in a Whodle thread once. I think it’s because |s are used for making tables here.

Tables don’t do that.

Sorry, I’ll see myself out…
