Just finished House of the Dead and that was genuinely heartbreaking, if you’ve watched Torchwood seasons 1-3 go listen, it’s so so good, and available for free.

Can’t say too much without spoiling but yeah the places the plot goes are genuinely incredible.

Also it’s only 45 mins and free on BBC sounds so you’ve got 0 excuse not to listen

Personally I think it hits even harder if you listen to all of them in order. It makes the twist even more shocking when the rest of them are clearly set before COE.

Oh yeah, I’d reccomend listening to the others first too, especially if you’re going to listen to all of them anyway, but I think you could listen to it on it’s own, even if the twist is helped by the other two

Based story, and its also free on YouTube in two separate parts, hasn’t been taken down.

I wrote a short fanfic on AO3 as an alternate ending, it’s called The Ignition, but references quite a bit of other TW EU material.

Kinda wish there was more Syriath content or lore though.
