Hi! I'm eldritchlamb

Hey, I kinda found this site sort of by accident and I’m glad I did. I’ve been watching Doctor Who since I was like nine probably and i watched it actively for a long time. But for the last few years it hasn’t been my main fandom but I’ve still watched every new season of Doctor Who when it came and kept track. I’m also a huge Torchwood fan and it was maybe around last year when I began to listen Torchwood’s Main Range episodes and the boxsets. I really got into Big Finish because of Torchwood.

This year I began to listen the Eighth doctor audio adventures. They’re really amazing and I love Paul Mcgann dearly. I feel like I relate to him on some level. So I’m kinda obsessed with Doctor Who all over again ;D Eighth is my favorite Doctor but others whom I love are Nine, Ten and Twelve. Aaand of course I love the Master.

Anyways, I’m from Finland and I love video editing and memes. I have weird humor but I still think I’m funny. Other shows I really like are IWTV, Hannibal and Star Trek. I’m a huge scifi and horror fan too.

Same here! I was trying to look something up on TARDIS Wiki and Edge showed me this lovely site.

Hope you like this place! Have you listened to Scherzo yet? It’s really lovely and relaxing (/j) Eighth’s Main Range story…… (Puts on Scherzo and pats the sofa)

Btw, @shauny Did you work out why Edge seems to love TG yet?

Hahah ;D I’ve listened to the Eight Doctor’s main range up to Absolution and I’m in the middle of The Girl Who Never Was. Scherzo was amazing (and heart-wrenching). I liked the Divergent Universe storyline as a whole. Thankfully there’s A LOT more to listen to… which is good because I’m obsessed with Paul McGann’s voice.

Literally the only thing I can think of right now! Welcome! Tervetuloa! A fellow Finn!

I can tell you that we have a Scandi Super Club here and @Tian, @BillFiler and myself are everywhere all at once on this forum, but with you joining, FInland now has the upper hand!

Haha! Let’s rule this place :finland: :finland: :star_struck:

Eight isn’t one of my favourites, but boy does he have some superb audio stories!

And remember, no matter what the other Scadi’s may say, you’re not actually forced to complete Time Lord Victorious

Welcome! Glad to have you here! I hope you enjoy your stay!

Also, glad to see another Fan of Eight, such a good Doctor, at times my favorite.
I wonder… have you watched some serials from classic series yet? :o

Yeah, I’ve seen some classic who! I recently did watch some Second Doctor episodes (and the War Games episode). I’ve watched a lot of Third and Fifth doctor episodes when I was a teen. Should have mentioned those two also in my list of favorites hahah. I’ve actually been thinking about starting to watch Classic Who properly again (maybe it’s my new year’s promise). I’ve been focusing on Big Finish lately since they’re easy to listen to at work ;D

That’s fair and valid, I’d highly recommend it! Would love to hear some of your thoughts about the 60s, I think if you like McGann, you may find some enjoyment in some of this Era too, even if both are quite different.

Yeah, I think I might enjoy the 60s Who, at least from what I’ve already seen. I felt like Second Doctor was quite good in his own silly way. Now that I think about it, I’ve seen a few episodes from the First Doctor a loooong time ago but should definitely start watching from the start!

If you like Eight, check out the eighth-doctor tag, for most of the Eighth Doctor stuff on the forum (barring the random Eighth Doctor tangents in other nonspecific threads).

Love Two! He’s the Eleventh Doctor of Classic Who! He deserves more love, it’s juat a shame that so many if his stories are completely or partly missing. If you decide ti start watching Classic from the beginning again, we have TV Club threads for every story up to The Daleks’ Master Plan (with a new ine dropping every other week), where you can share your opinions. There are others here who have just embarked on a full run through Classic from the beginning.
