Disregarding the controversy over what specific years things happen in, in terms of the “present day” timeline, what exact order do the episodes of DW series 3, TW series 2, SJA series 1 and DW series 4 occur in?
Do they occur one after the other? Is there some overlap in places? I really wanna figure out what the best order is to experience the episodes in chronological order. (This is obviously disregarding any time travel. It’s just from the perspective of 21st century Earth.)
What I know for certain is that the finales of TW series 2 (Exit Wounds) and SJA series 1 (The Lost Boy) occur before The Stolen Earth, but beyond that, I’ll need some help figuring out a clear timeline.
Also, despite Turn Left suggesting that the Bannerman Road gang has been formed by the start of DW series 3, since that greatly contradicts other plot points, I’m gonna go in with the assumption that SJA series 1 (Invasion of the Bane) starts after DW series 3 (Last of the Time Lords).

I always thought everything after Aliens of London was then set a year later, but some stuff contradicts that, in the episodes and on the websites. So now I don’t really know whether they all are or not, I think by Series 4 it goes back to the actual present day?

It is probably not much help, but The Stolen Earth also occurs before Day Of The Clown from SJA, as Maria is mentioned as being in Cornwall(not in America), and Rani is not mentioned at all

Yeah, it goes back on track by the time of Planet of the Dead. For some reason, the above timeline ignores the 2006 date of Aliens of London, but if you ignore the actual dates, it works pretty well.

You’ld think thay wouldn’t you. But this “1 year in the future” thing keeps cropping up all the way until the 60th with Rose’s age. I believe it causes issues for a fair few 11th Doctor UNIT stories and Kate as well. Honestly I’d be surprised if it doesn’t come up in the next era

The Kate thing and other 11 stuff is due to an uncertainty of exactly when The Power of Three, and thus “the year of the slow invasion” takes place, and by extension Amy and Rory’s time more generally, not the RTD1 time jump that is back on track in about the Tennant specials, and isn’t relevant again after his time until the 60th, as you mention with Rose Noble’s age not making sense.
Amy mentions something about 10 years traveling with the Doctor, but it’s unclear how much time those 10 years get crammed into. It’s at minimum about 3 considering Series 5, 6, and 7A about a year each, but it could be more, definitely feasible that The Power of Three takes place after some of, or all of Kate’s UNIT appearances between 2012 and 2020-ish as a result.

Even during the RTD1 years, it starts getting really messy in Series 3, with various contradictory sources on whether or not it’s in 2007 or 2008, Blink and Human Nature pretty explicitly mentioning the year 2007 for example, but clearly the season is after Love and Monsters and The Runaway Bride, both 2007, due to their Saxon mentions.
But that’s not what this thread is really about, as said in the first sentence. I think it’s roughly in parallel with a bit of wiggle room.
