I’m getting the best food for Easter this year since I’m at my grandparents and my grandma made her wonderful carrot cake 
It’s got a filling of vanilla-butter cream and one of orange marmalade and marzipan on top

Remember when there was an Easter Special but the only time Easter was mentioned was when the Doctor was eating an Easter Egg 
I remember when that went out I made some joke on Twitter about how I’m gonna watch on TV a story about a man who died and was reborn and is here to save the human race

Happy Easter! I only got Good Friday as a bank holiday but after a busy weekend I’m wishing I got today off too

Granted I don’t work there anymore (they wouldn’t let me work remotely when I moved..) but they didn’t give us any bank holidays at all (excluding Christmas & New Year), and I was there 6 years

AFAIK perfectly legal. It was a company with over 100 people, a few of us always moaned about it because all our clients/suppliers were shut which made the day super quiet in the office.

Depends on the company. My last software company didn’t give us bank holidays, but gave us a larger pool of days to use freely instead

Ahh okay, maybe mines did the same I’m not sure. Always felt our allowance was really rubbish. Not to mention, they increased our hours but in doing so gave us a half day once a month, but over the years every department apart from mine got to take them as full days whenever, so they got 6 extra days.
Then I negotiated to drop my hours, lost the half days as I agreed, a year later the company reduced hours but everyone got to keep the half days…

Yeah… One of my friends was on at me for literal years to quit until I finally did. I really loved my job, but the environment and parts of the contracts were just so infuriating. Anyways, Easter!
